Outfit of the Day in November

At this point of the year, many of us have already pulled out our winter coats. That has not been the case this year in Tokyo. Not that we are complaining, the weather has been glorious. Since the weather hasn't dropped drastically, our Outfit of the Day this month reflects the pleasant weather outdoors.

The focus (obviously denim!) is a restock we just receive recently, the coveted XX-010 Purple Face Selvedge denim by Pure Blue Japan. The bold purple face is not for the faint hearted, but the fading patina we have seen on well worn pairs of this fabric are pretty stellar. Complementing the jeans is our new favorite non-denim brand this year, Loop & Weft. Loop & Weft cut no corners, and consistently deliver fantastic, meticulously crafted Tops. We are thrilled to continue building out our collection of Loop & Weft garments to share with you guys!

As our curated collection has grown, we now offer full outfits from pretty much head to toe. Like the Anachronorm Mid Vulcanized Sole Sneakers in Olive Green that were just launched recently. With the colors coming together perfectly, the brown soles paired with the olive upper with white laces makes for a perfect set of kicks to match your favorite Selvedge pair. Another product (and Brand for that matter!) that we have just added to our roster is the Studio D'Artisan Selvedge Denim Fedora Hat, one of those pieces for the diehard Selvedge heads. 

Another item we have been carrying for a while now is the Momotaro GTB Shoulder Bag, a convenient carry all bag that can be thrown and latched across the shoulder blade. Keeping with the Made in Japan theme, the black watch featured is a custom Seiko of which only 700 pieces were produced exclusively for the White Mountaineering brand, and renowned Japanese label with a local cult following. Since their office is right down the street from us in Daikanyama, we hang out there a bunch.

To round out this month's Outfit we have socks by our favorite (once again, Made in Japan) sock label, Tabio. The beautiful Natural Leather Belt seen featured is a classic piece by the Fullcount brand. Finally, wallet by Il Bisonte and bracelet by our favorite Japanese accessory maker, Aki, complete our Outfit this month.
