Never taking shortcuts. That should be the new tagline for Studio D'Artisan, seriously. These guys are true to their word and produce some of the most exceptional garments coming out of Okayama. Not only do they excel in Jeans, as we have seen with past collections from SDA, but these guys also don't fool around with their dedication to Loopwheeled garments. This fabric is no exception.
Creating a jersey knit Loopwheel fabric is hard enough, crafting a Cotton pique fabric (used in most Polo Shirts, including this one) is tediously slow, to the point of barely turning a profit as the costs soar to make Loopwheeled Cotton Pique. Using a regular Loopwheel machine (only two factories are still able to do this in Wakayama), only 10 meters of this fabric is able to be produced in one day.
