Love this pair. These pictures are from when I first got these about a year ago. I haven’t worn them much but the fades coming out sick. They’ve now been washed a handful of times I believe, and drape much better around my legs. Will post another review with showing the jeans one year later.

First of all, buying from Okayama denim was such a great experience. Ryo, from the Okayama team was helpful, quick to respond to my queries and even measured the denim they had in stock just so that I can be assured of right purchase. The denim was then quickly hemmed and delivered to Toronto, all the way from Japan in just few days.
Coming to the product- Momotaro narrow tapered ‘going to battle’ denim. This is definitely the best jeans I own. They’re perfect middleweight denim with awesome stitching and detailing. The fit is great. But if you’re someone who has bigger thighs and hips, would recommend sizing up or a different model. But that’s expected as this is ‘narrow tapered’. Overall a good looking and a great quality jeans!

Best jeans I've ever owned! I love the raw denim from Momotaro, and i love the little personalization's that this brand offers. From the battle stripes on back pocket, to different color and types of leather brand tags. But my favorite distinction is the pink stitching and selvedge stripe, just another little distinction that makes for a great jean. The only reason i didn't give 5-star is because the sizing was a little off, but that is partially my fault also. These will be the ONLY raw denim jeans that I will buy.
