With the Slub Masters latest proprietary Selvedge development, comes a unique dye composition for the Warp of the denim. Featuring a combination classic indigo with green color sulphur dye to create a blue denim with an unmistakably green hue. With the warp remaining undyed, the denim is bound to yield some unique fading properties as the jeans wear.

Pure Blue Japan's classic 013 silhouette is is a true slim tapered cut with a tapered leg opening.

Like many of Pure Blue Japan's jeans, the fabric is of a low-tension shuttle loom, thus featuring the slubby and hairy feeling fabric common to Pure Blue Japan denim. The production of these jeans are constant through out every year in several different batches because the production ouput of the fabric is very limited.

The uniqueness of the slubby denim fabric, coupled with the small-scale production method, make this perfect fitting jean by Pure Blue Japan a true classic.

These are my first pair of PBJ and they exceeded my very high expectations. The denim is simply gorgeous, the craftsmanship is impressive, and most importantly, they fit perfectly. I couldn't be happier.

Good online sale experience. Shipping to Europe is free and very quick considering the jeans are coming from Japan. However, one has to keep in mind that import taxes and duties are payable on entry into the EU, as disclosed on the website. In my case they amounted to about a third of the price of the jeans, which is a lot but of course not the fault of okayama denim. It was my first purchase, now I know: caveat emptor. Btw, the jeans are great, so that mitigates the pain :)

I can’t say enough about OD . They are just great. The PBJ jeans I ordered are perfect. One cannot go wrong with PBJ, the fit and color are spot on. OD got them shipped within a couple of hours of my ordering them and they were delivered about three days later. I think OD is a fine company and highly recommend them.

my pbj 14oz green cast indigo pair in raw denim arrived the other day. i gave them a soak in the tub for an hour and waited patiently for them to dry. and damn, what a beautiful pair of denim. i've been wearing them since and couldn't be happier with the fit and the absolutely coolest hue of color. thanks as always to everyone at okayama denim for their great customer service. john riven in toronto.

I love the color. The jeans are the best quality. They are a little bit tight but will work. I decided to order another pair in the raw fit and went one size up. PBJ is top of the line denim and I highly recommend them.I’m still waiting for a shipment confirmation email after my second order but PBJ is in my opinion worth the wait.
