Imagine the thinnest sweatshirt that you've ever felt. Then imagine yarn dyed threading was used to construct the piece. Add some indigo dyed ribbed fabric for the cuffs, and what you've got is the latest fabric development by the PBJ team in Wakayama, Japan. From a T-shirt standpoint, we've never felt anything like this. It is the weight of a Heavyweight tee, but the feel of a sweatshirt. Thinner than a sweatshirt, but thicker than PBJ's t-shirt offerings, unique scratches the surface when explaining this new fabric development by PBJ.
What is unique and special about this t-shirt is that it is constructed from yarn dyed indigo - the same dye used in most jeans. Although made in Wakayama as most t-shirts from Japan are, the cotton yarn was dyed in Okayama. The indigo four needle stitching method keeps the tee comfortable at the seams when worn.
The Tee has been sized up when compared to PBJ sizing from previous seasons, with the addition of a size 5 as well. A size 2, as pictured in these photos, are about a Small in most Western sized brands.
