An OD+ZT Collaboration | The "Kasuri" Down Haori Jacket

The fourth in our ongoing collaboration outerwear series with Japan's first downwear maker Zanter, we decided to inject some of our Indigo DNA into one of the brand's most popular offerings. Taking the traditional Haori silhouette, we opted for a indigo-dyed 100% slub cotton fabric featuring a "Kasuri" pattern.

Kasuri (or 絣) is the Japanese term for a fabric that has a color range of dyed fibers to create patterns and images within a textile. It is similar to Ikat dyeing, a form of resistance dyeing. Over the hundreds of years this dyeing technique has been practiced, each region within Japan has developed their own unique patterns, reflecting the textile culture of the local area.

Featuring a Light Green 100% polyester lining, each jacket is fully reversible and packed with Zanter's high-quality 800FP down. Another proud first for us is the introduction of our custom-made embossed metal "OD" logo snap-button. Versatility is the name of the game here, as the jacket is fully reversible. For the lining, we opted for a light green color to closely fit the profile of the main body Kasuri fabric. Packed to the brim with Zanter's 800+ FP (fill power) down, this jacket is designed to keep you cozy whether you're lounging around the house or hitting the town.

The OD+ZT "Kasuri" Down Haori Jacket drops on 12/22 @Midnight (JST)
