Yesterday, we had a brand new piece by Pure Blue Japan for F/W '13, hit our online shop. Now it may seems as simple as a beanie, but to begin with the outer cotton base fabric was hand dyed in natural indigo dye to create the natural blue color of the beanie. Then on the inside, for reasons of comfort and softness of the fabric, a polyester fabric is used in the PBJ standard cobalt blue color. To match this cobalt blue color, the same color stitching is used on the outer fabric. What is additionally unique about this beanie is that between the layers of the fabric, a very soft material is used to create the quilt-like feel of the cap. And to complete the look, there is the PBJ small indigo leaf logo on the brim on the front of the beanie.
