An OD+LW Collaboration | The Super Slub Indigo Dyed Tees Collection

For anyone that’s been with us for a while, you know we’ve been doing this for a minute with our fam over at Loop & Weft.

Cue the arrival of collaboration No. 20 & 21 with the Nara-based brand, which comes dripping in garment-dyed Indigo, just in time for the brutal heat.

When it comes to dreaming up a collaboration with L&W, the conversation always starts at fabric. With multiple proprietary developments coming from L&W every season, often inspired by vintage pieces discovered by Ryota-san on his countless hunts for hidden gems, it’s the fabric that speaks volumes with the brand. This season,  Loop & Weft's "Super Slub" weave fabric, which features that perfect combination of exceptional softness and irregularity has taken over by storm, and is the foundation for our summer tee collaboration in 2024. This particular fabric is especially breathable and more than suitable for the upcoming dog days. Due to the irregularity of the heather yarns, contact with the skin is minimal to ensure a comfortable fit and feel over extended wear. Taking cues from 1960s era t-shirts, these tees feature custom "Oyako Binder Sewing" ribbing detailing, in order to create the binder feature that elevates the life of each garment.

Opting for the hue we know best, the ODLW020 & 21 are garment-dyed in Pure Indigo, piece by piece to ensure a perfectly balanced dye through each Henley or crewneck.

The OD+LW Super Slub Indigo Dyed Tees drop on 7/12 @Midnight (JST)
