Master-piece's latest "Notch" series of wallets combine exceptional construction with some of the most premium leather materials available on the market.

The steerhide leather used for the main body of the wallet is sourced from the only tannery in Japan that has obtained LWG (Leather Working Group) certification. Only a few tanneries qualify for this certification and must uphold the highest standards when it comes to environmental compliance and the traceability of the leathers that they use.

In order to achieve the extremely refined finish of the leather body, the chrome-tanned steer hide is coated with a special layer of chemicals to prevent scratching and staining. Once the spacial color coating has been applied, the surface is stamped with a kip-like pattern to give it a well-grained finish.

The interior is made using Kip Leather, known for its smooth finish and robustness. A special resin coating is applied to elevate the scratch resistance as well as provide a beautiful gloss finish.
