Momotaro's latest brown dorduroy fabric features an organic cotton 20-count triple-twisted yarn, which is expertly woven into an 8 "wale" (ウェル) double-layer corduroy, ensuring a robust and luxurious feel. "Wale" is a unit of measurement that represents the number of ridges (or wales) per inch in the corduroy fabric. In this case, as there are 8 ridges within one inch, it is described as "8-wale". The unique construction method, known as "三子撚り (mikoyori)," involves spinning three threads together to create a single, intricately intertwined thread. This technique results in a yarn with enhanced thickness, strength, and a subtle sheen, adding to the overall quality of the fabric.

This 2nd-type jacket mirrors the silhouette of vintage workwear, with an extended length for a modern touch. The clean and sleek profile is complemented by hand-warmer pockets on the torso, adding both style and functionality.
