Amazing piece!!!! This is my first Samurai denim purchase. I can say that it is one of the top Japanese brands for a reason. The denim is very slubby and neppy. Almost linty, but in a good way. Okayama Denim had the best price that I found so far. Get one while you can!!! This to me is the best version of the Type 1. Never cared for the back cinch on the traditional type 1 jacket. Once I saw this version with no cinch and hand warmer pockets it was an instant buy. Pay attention to the sizing I have a 41-42 chest got the size 40 which measures out to be a 44 chest. It was a perfect fit!!! The weight of the denim is 15 oz but it feels heavier and more substantial. The denim feels like real quality, and the construction is amazing. You are getttig what you pay for at this price point. I have seen on other sites this same jacket going for over 400 dollars. I would not get it at that price. But Okayama has it for much cheaper and I got the 1st time discount which made it the perfect price.
