FDMTL | Fall/Winter 2020 Drop 1

September 17, 2020

FDMTL deliver year in, year out with their plethora of stunning fabrics and traditional Japanese inspired garments. 2020 is no exception and the bar has yet again been raised with their Fall collection.
Adapting the Patchwork Coverall, this time opting for a Bicolor denim approach really highlights the individual hues of Indigo featured in the various Sashiko and Corduroy fabrics featured.
Teaming up with Japanese hatters Decho, the damage distressed indigo boro fabric by FDMTL brings out an insane texture like we have never seen before.
Teaming up yet again with Masterpiece Japan, FDMTL have added a bold new 'neon' colorway to this years pieces.
One of the many popular types of Sashiko, the "+" sign sashiko actually represents Kaki no Hana, or Persimmon leaves in English.
After a long hiatus, the return of FDMTL's long cardigans is a welcome addition to this year's lineup.
Featuring a combination of that multi check color pop, FDTML reimagine the classic Americana Flannel in a quintessentially "Tokyo" way. The clash of Japanese tradition and classic American work wear creates a unique yet eye-pleasing aesthetic.
No stranger to shirting, FDMTL really highlight their penchant for all things patchwork.  Featuring an array of Rip-stop, Indigo sashiko and dobby fabrics, the patchwork leans heavy on the indigo angle.
Drop 1 of FDMTL's F/W 2020 collection will be available on 9/18 @ Midnight (JST)
