Silver Week (シルバーウィーク) is one of Japan's less widely known but equally cherished holiday periods, a cluster of national holidays in mid-to-late September that brings the country together for a few days of rest and reflection. The week takes its name from the concentration of public holidays that fall in close succession, including Respect for the Aged Day on the third Monday of September and the Autumnal Equinox Day, a day with deep roots in Japanese Buddhist tradition when families visit ancestral graves and pay their respects to those who have passed.
In observance of Silver Week, our office will be closed from September 19th to 23rd, with normal operations resuming on September 24th. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time, and wish you and your family a peaceful and restful holiday period.
