    New for this week we have fresh arrivals coming through from two brands we admire. Hailing from Nara, Loop & Weft continue to live up to their motto of "Best Knitwear in Japan" with their vintage-inspired Heather Slub L/S Bib Tees. Meanwhile, purveyors of finely crafted luggage Master-piece have been busy concocting their hyper functional "M-Pack" series using a Cordura fabric that is quite literally a barrier against the elements.

    Loop & Weft Heather Slub L/S Bib Tees

    Crafted under a traditional lens, Loop & Weft have combined a wonderfully textured proprietary Heather Slub fabric with a classic USN undershirt motif.
    Not only one of the softest t-shirt fabrics we have ever felt, the level of refined detailing of this piece cement it as a truly exciting take on a classic garment. The unique bib stitching featured on the front and back of the tee require the meticulous attention care of a skilled artisan to complete.
    The neckline features a custom binder milled ribbing, only made possible by adding a custom element to a vintage flat seamer machine to create the binder feature that elevates the life of the garment.

    Loop & Weft Two-tone Heather Slub L/S Bib Tees

    While available as individual colorways, the two-tone variants of this textured tee combine the gray and beige fabrics in the arrangement of the bib and torso panels.
    The entire process of weaving this fabric and sewing the garment takes place in Wakayama. A Union Special 4-needle flat seamer machine commands all the seam construction, just one of the many detail driven features that Loop & Weft have become known for.

    Master-piece "M-Pack" Backpacks

    Behind the scenes, Master-piece have been busy working away at a stylish yet supremely functional series of luggage wear for F/W 2021. The "M-Pack" backpack's body features Cordura's extra-durable "Mastertex-04" 3 layer nylon fabric. Built to endure the elements, the fabric is coated with a special L-Vent film which is highly water-repellent and breathable. The beautiful luster of each color is just the icing on the cake.
    One particular neat feature of this backpack is the addition of Master-piece's "M-Straps", which will stretch to naturally conform to the wearer's back as weight is added.
    Complete with a front pocket featuring YKK's proprietary "Aquaguard" waterproof zipper opening and a mesh-lined laptop sleeve, this backpack has everything you need while on the move, come rain or shine.

    For the ultimate portable option of Master-piece's latest fabric foray, look no further than the "M-Pack" Crossbody Shoulder Bag.
    Versaility is the name of the game here. With the unique shoulder strap arrangement, it's entirely up to you whether you prefer to rock the bag horizontally or vertically.
    On top of that, Master-piece prove once again that they are ahead of the curve on the functionality front. Featured at the bottom of the bag is elastic taping that can securely hold an umbrella or other items.
