The latest arrivals from Momotaro

This week Momotaro get their S/S 2024 collection into full gear with the arrival of their latest proprietary "Silk Denim" fabric. The warp yarn is rope dyed to a deep indigo hue, while the weft yarn consists of two strands of silk twisted together, resulting in a 16oz. selvedge denim of exceptional quality. Boasting a silky-smooth texture and a dignified luster, the silk infuses each thread with a sense of refinement and sophistication. Dropping as a jeans and jacket duo, the V-Seam Jacket takes cues from Type 3 jackets while also getting a well deserved addition of hand warmer pockets. The jeans feature Momotaro's Narrow Tapered silhouette which has ample room in the top block and thighs, while maintaining a flattering taper from the knee down. As the fabric is raw, you can thoroughly enjoy the beautiful luster of the fabric prior to washing it for the first time. Finally for this week, we welcome Momotaro's latest 5oz. Selvedge Chambray Shirt. Woven slowly on vintage power looms from the early Showa era at a historic textile workshop in Okayama, it features a 5oz. Selvedge chambray fabric with both warp and weft threads featuring slub yarns. This results in a lightweight and pleasantly textured fabric that allows you to enjoy the quintessential characteristics of indigo fading over time.

The new Momotaro items drop on 3/21 @ Midnight (JST)
