This denim jacket is wonderful! The denim is very thick and strong, it will probably loosen up as it ages. The cut is excellent though I had to return my first jacket as the body was pretty tight. I'm 140 lbs and 5'9" and I'm not overweight in any way, but my normal 38" was just too tight around my mid body. So I got a 40" and it's great though I will wash it cold and hand dry it as I don't want it any smaller. I would recommend buying one size larger. The craftsmanship and materials are excellent, this is a beautifully made jacket. I also like the hand pockets, they go down deep enough to hold your phone and not throw it out the moment you get in the car. On the inside there are two deep pockets which are VERY useful for wallet, glasses, phone etc.
It's quite expensive but will last a very long time - a truly great product!

I was worried that the 46 would not fit, but I trusted the provided measurements. I am 6’-1” 228 lbs., and the 46 fits the way these jackets are supposed to. The denim is very unique. I am glad I got one of the few pieces made. Shipping (very fast) and packaging could not be better.

Most Type 3 Jackets are not wide enough for me both in shoulders & chest. This one (size: 46) fits well. I'm 185 cm (6'1) 105kg (231lb). If I understand correctly, this is not your typical Type 3 jacket, it's a hybrid, looks liky Type 3 but almost as wide as Type 2.

Fabulous slubby denim, relatively heavy weight (18 oz/yd2), but pliable and easy wearing. Longer length like a modified type III, with type II pleats. Extreme attention to detail, selvedge on placket, cuffs and hanger loop. HD pocket bags that also form interior pockets. Quick delivery to US via DHL. Happy customer.

The fabric and construction quality are superior. This jacket being a combo of 2 and 3 type is a masterpiece in terms if design as well. Inner pockets were made of a super reliable fabric. They rivet reinforced sleeve openings with extra rivets, which is a nice feature for those who like to roll up the sleeves. The denim fabric is just amazing.
Though beware of some measurements.
1) The waste opening (bottom button) and neck opening (upper button) are kind of narrower than of your average same size denim jacket.
2) I am a slim built guy. But even unbuttoned, it leaves little wiggle space in the waste area. And two sides of the collar are kind of spread apart way too far from each other.
3) Though sleeves, chest and shoulders may match your current jacket, but I would still size it up. Works only for skinny guys and some slim guys, but not for average built guys
If you're a skinny guy, it's a perfect match for you

The cut on this jacket is perfect. I'm 6' 200lbs and got the XL. I have worn many jean jackets over the years and I'd go out on a limb to say this is the best fit I've experienced. The the cross-hatch warp/weft slub is as appearant IRL as it is in the pictures. Shipped very quickly. A+
