Colloquially referred to as the "cashmere" of cotton, a high-grade variant of "Supima cotton" is used in the construction of these cotton jersey pocket crewneck T-shirts. Utilizing a special thread featuring a natural unevenness, and weaving said thread at a high density on high-gauge knitting machines yields this unique proprietary jersey material. Equal parts supple with a soft hand feel, the fabric brings out the natural characteristics of Supima cotton, while reminiscing old school hand-spun cotton and vintage jersey fabrics.

The silhouette is designed to incorporate the standard specifications of a classic crewneck sweatshirt into a short-sleeve T-shirt. The S-shaped freedom sleeves are sewn with a four needle flat seamer machine to maximize construction durability and agility. This construction process requires highly skilled craftsmen to command, and provides a seam allowance that is incomparable with other construction techniques. Moreover, the neckline is layered with a reinforcement tape, the cuffs are constructed using a binder neck method, the chest pocket is reduced in size to mimic a style common in vintage pieces, all combining to create a piece that eloquently pays homage to vintage production.
