Studio D'Artisan's new "Upcycle" series represents a conscientious approach to fashion, embracing the Japanese ethos of "もったいない" (Mottainai - Too good to waste) - centered around minimizing waste and making the most of available resources. This jacket is crafted from a duck canvas fabric made by re-spinning denim scraps, thread waste, and used denim collected from factories. Through this process, the waste material is upcycled into a durable new fabric, giving discarded textiles a second life. The patch used for this is also produced from recycled leather that has been pressed, giving it a feel and look akin to cork/suede.

This collection showcases Studio D'Artisan's commitment to environmental sustainability by reducing waste generated during the manufacturing process and reusing denim that has reached the end of its life.
