Samurai have pulled out all the stops this season to conjure up this truly one-of-a-kind fabric for S/S 2026. That pattern is reproduced through a combination of natural indigo and synthetic indigo blended dye, creating a deep and slightly purple tone. Using a Kasezome hand-dyeing process, the yarn is dyed in hank form before weaving to allow uneven dye penetration and the kind of tonal variation that rope-dyeing cannot produce. The resulting blue deepens and becomes richer with repeated washing rather than simply fading out, developing a character over time that is entirely particular to each garment. Classic work shirt cues are present, including triple-needle chainstitching construction, chainstitch runoffs at the gussets and Samurai's original Union Ticket.
