Drawing inspiration from European ski wear of the 1940s, Soundman's "Treck" Loopwheel Turtleneck Sweatshirt reinterprets the wool pile garments of the era through the comfort and versatility of traditional Japanese sweatshirt fabric.

Replacing the original wool pile with exceptionally soft loopwheel French terry, the sweatshirt is produced using vintage knitting machines, of which only a handful remain operational in Japan. The slow, traditional knitting process creates a remarkably soft fabric with a natural fullness and a comfortable feel against the skin.

The design retains the distinctive character of vintage winter sportswear, with a gently contoured turtleneck collar and cuffs constructed from needle-out ribbing. These details lend the garment a subtle, streamlined appearance while recalling the craftsmanship and styling of early athletic sweatshirts.

Practical details include a drawcord at the hem for adjusting the fit and discreet pockets incorporated into the side seams, adding everyday functionality without disturbing the clean silhouette.
