The Studio D'Artisan "Vietnam War" Selvedge Jeans are a reimagining of what a true "war model" might have looked like had it been produced in the 1960s. Factories repurposed existing stock fabrics and trims, while unnecessary details were eliminated to maximize efficiency. Skilled sewing craftsmen were drafted for military uniform production, leaving denim manufacturing in the hands of less-experienced workers. As a result, jeans from this era featured crude stitching and unpolished details.
