Welcome to Okayama Denim

Earlier this year there was a devastating event in Japan which changed the face of the country which we have called home since birth. We had to do something. We wanted to share our love for Japan while simultaneously supporting the disaster relief.

The idea for producing denim bracelets under the Okayama Denim Project name came soon after the earthquake and tsunami, and is something we are continuing to produce and sell for the relief effort.

Through countless trips to Okayama and numerous relationships built along the way, the idea for OkayamaDenim.com came about organically as a result of our passion for denim and a belief in homegrown Japanese products.

Fast forward about four months and here we are - managing a web store carrying brands we are deeply passionate about and who we feel reflect the craftsmanship, quality and perfection that Japan is known for.  We hope that our love for quality, homegrown products will find a fulfilling and functional place in your lives just as it has in ours!
