So if you have read the product description of the new JB0409 pants we just added by Japan Blue, you can deduce that they are an amazing fit and come in three different colors. But the fabric - what exactly is High Count Pique? Pique is created using a certain production method for cotton to create a fabric with raised geometrical shapes, most commonly squares. So as we know from other fabrics like bed sheets, etc., High Count will mean a high amount of threads used for every square inch of woven fabric. So in this case, High Count Pique would be a material with raised squares as a pattern in the fabric with a high density of cotton thread stitching within the pattern. Featured in an Olive color in the pictures below, the pants are also available in a standard Beige and Black. Available today for US$150 a pair, a real steal for a pair of Made in Japan pants following vintage construction methods!
