This year's heavyweight flannel addition is the result of Samurai's "April Truth" flannel contest, whereby fans of the brand submitted and voted on various colorways. And shout out to the fans because they have certainly chosen wisely. The unique colors used in the design draw inspiration from Japan's historical use of natural dyes, such as indigo, persimmon, mud and sumi ink, with undyed yarns representing Samurai's "Homemade" organic cotton.
