As one final salute to an unforgettable year, Samurai have a final limited pair to pay homage to 2020. In Japan, the Year of the Mouse is the first in a twelve year zodiac cycle of animals. As such, the S710XX19oz-20NE model can be considered the first of 12 annual releases, when following the zodiac calendar format.

Featuring Samurai's 19oz. "Kiwami" Selvedge Denim, this fabric was considered the heaviest oz. weight denim at the time it debuted back in 2004. The Red + Silver Lamé Selvedge ID has cemented itself among the denim world as an ambassador for the brand.

Cut in the fan-favorite "S710" silhouette, balance of fit is maintained by retaining a reasonably spacious top block and gradual taper through out the leg. Samurai have also maintained the classic length inseam for this model at 38 inches, perfect for the taller denimheads out there.

Paying homage to the Mouse, all-gray stitching construction is featured throughout the jeans to provide an interesting contrasting element to the rough fabric face of their heavyweight "Kiwami" denim. Retaining the back pocket arcuates and red S∀MURAI rayon tab, these details are slowly being phased out across all of Samurai's models, due to legal pressures.

Featuring a custom-made goatskin leather patch, the zǐ (子) character represents the first of the twelve Earthly Branches.
