The latest arrivals from Momotaro, Samurai and Studio D'Artisan
The velocity of fresh Fall arrivals are picking up pace here at the OD HQ, with some of our favorite brands revealing what they have been cooking up behind the scenes. The Momotaro crew have given their heavyweight Sashiko fabric that Indigo-dyed love, with their new Narrow Tapered pants featuring those eponymous "Going to Battle" painted stripes, leading the charge for this week's drops. Also getting the GTB treatment is the brand's take on a classic denim coverall jacket. Featuring intricate stitching construction, Momotaro have opted to add elements of their GTB series jeans including their original metal buttons and Peach branded rivets. The sword-wielding Samurai camp have also been busy brewing up some new additions to their denim lineup. The new S510HX "Vintage" model takes their timeless 15oz. S0510 "Otokogi" denim and combines it with a salute to vintage construction details of 1940's/50's jeans. Not just limited to the proprietary hardware that Samurai have designed for this very model, look under the surface to see 100% cotton sewing construction and a simple red rayon tab. Also celebrating turn of the century workwear, Studio D'Artisan's 14oz. Hickory Work Shirt draws inspiration from garments worn by railroad workers in the 1930s. Featuring rope-dyed Indigo stripes, expect an interesting and unique fading profile as you rock this piece.
