The latest arrivals from Samurai Jeans

With all the merriness that comes with the holiday season, a couple of frost-impervious threads hailing from Osaka give us some Winter cheer for December.

Kicking things off with a 25th anniversary special, Samurai's latest "Musashi" model features a unique 17oz. Left-hand twill fabric which is seldom seen in their expansive range of denim. Taking vintage construction cues, the jeans are cut in Samurai's widest silhouette and feature suspender buttons and a cinch back. Left-hand twill fabrics are renowned for not only their comfortable wear factor, but have the potential to yield amazing fades due to the unique weave.

Continuing on the 25th anniversary train and true to the numbers, Samurai's 25oz. Selvedge Jacket is easily the heaviest denim jacket we have stocked to date! Thankfully, the wash process has been taken care of but even so - this beefy fabric is not for the faint-hearted. Sporting the look of a classic Type I jacket, each one of these obnoxiously heavy pieces is reinforced with Samurai's first-class stitching construction and an embossed "Hinode" metal button opening.

Samurai's long awaited Heavyweight Indigo Dyed Flannels round off this drop, with the rope-dyed yarns of the shirts combining perfectly with the unique color scheme for this year's winter-edition flannels. Doubling down on the fading potential, the nut buttons have also been dyed in Indigo which should patina beautifully over time, in tandem with the fabric. Just as heavyweight as the fabric, Samurai's triple-needle chainstitching construction will guarantee these pieces will stand the test of time.

The new Samurai items drop on 12/15 @ Midnight (JST)
