Studio D’Artisan continue a stellar start to the year, with a checked flannel shirt, as well as a new iteration of the fan favorite “Amami Dorozome” series, in the form of the Easterner Jacket, both of which are available in 2 color ways. Following the recent releases of the Doro flannel shirts and Easterner Jeans, the full kit is complete with the “Amami Dorozome” Easterner jacket in the familiar brown and dark brown variants. As learnt from the latest blog post found here
, the “Amami Dorozome” and “Easterner” series’ mixes a playful homage to Lee’s popular 100-J “Westerner” Jacket silhouette, originally introduced to the world in 1959, with the traditional artisanal Japanese mud dying (Dorozome) techniques. This skilled, delicate, and time-consuming process results in a one-of-a-kind garment that both looks and feels special, which will result in the cotton satin fabric aging and fading with unique character over time. This jacket is finished off with embossed black coated metal buttons and an adjustable waistband. Along with the earthy tones of the Jacket, the Osaka 5 behemoth have released 2 colorful check shirts to help you shine during those gray and gloomy winter days. The heavyweight shirts include a beautiful blend of green, orange, white, and blue yarns. They also feature double chest pockets, a resin buttoned front placket, and side gussets.
