The Studio D'Artisan F/W 2026 Collection

Constant innovation with SDA is to be expected, and the Osaka OG's deliver another impressive collection with their F/W’26 range. The headline story this season is the revival of the long-lost "Kyoto Aqua Indigo", a rare white-flowering indigo plant believed to have disappeared over 100 years ago and now painstakingly restored to Kyoto soil by a dedicated dyeing house. Alongside this, SDA continue their deep exploration of Japan's natural dye heritage through the "GL3 Hinode Denim", combining ancient madder and indigo to produce the aristocratic "Futa-Ai" color, and the "Kasane no Irome" series, which layers natural dyes over indigo and black for two distinctly Japanese tonal expressions. Woven throughout is SDA's signature commitment to historic machinery, with the legendary Toyoda GL3 loom and the 1953 Ishikawadai spinning machine both playing central roles in the collection's most compelling fabrics.
