It's the latest from the brand that makes you feel like family. These guys have been quietly making some of Okayama's finest jeans since 1995, with no sign of slowing down. Truly underrated in the Japanese denim game, Kamikaze Attack responds to the fans with a silhouette that is the closest to perfect we have seen in a long time.
With an added couple centimeters on the rises (Front and Back Rise) combined with a slightly larger upper thigh paves the way for a relaxed and easy to wear top block that will leave the family jewels happy as well. The real fun comes from the knee down with an aggressive taper that allows for the jeans to fall great on any footwear with a natural but form fitting silhouette. And with subtle details like the Selvedge pop on the rear pocket and fifth pocket are a couple details we fell hard for.
Crafted in the old school workshop in Kojima that the Kamikaze team have been working out of for years, this particular silhouette is something the brand is very proud of. Steering clear of the skinny trend, Kamikaze have created this style, which gracefully tapers from the inner thigh, down to the leg opening. So giving a fairly comfortable top block and crotch area, the jeans start to slim out just past the thigh, and continue to remain slim till the leg opening.
Although these are indeed Sanforized, still expect to lose at least 1cm around the waist, and 2cm in the inseam, with an additional .5cm lost on the Rise, Thigh, Knee, and Leg opening. Special details include the Kamikaze Attack Logo branded pocket bags, detailed stitch work on the back left pocket, and the unusual, yet comical leather waistband patch. We strongly suggest sizing up with this model.
