Introducing one of the most innovative Selvedge compositions we've seen to date, the 二藍 (Futa-Ai) denim features a Warp of blended Tokushima Natural Indigo and Madder dye.

This color has existed since the Heian period and was once reserved for the aristocracy due to its refined, complex hue. The combination of indigo’s depth and madder’s warmth produces a beautifully nuanced purple shade. Combining a variegated set of yarns to serve as the Warp allows not just for a hue that is unique to this proprietary denim, this combination of varying yarns kicks the texture on the face of the fabric into overdrive. Aesthetically, upon first glance they have the distinct "rain" streaking running down the fabric as is usually seen in Tokushima Natural Indigo jeans.
