Woven in Niigata, a region long celebrated for its production of high-quality yarn-dyed textiles, the fabric used in this jacket is a heavyweight plain flannel distinguished by its dense yet soft hand feel. This balance of strength and comfort is achieved through the use of exceptionally thick yarns. The warp is constructed from double-twisted yarns to enhance durability, while the weft utilizes slub yarns to introduce a natural texture and depth to the fabric’s surface.
