Taking our stealthy original 18oz. fabric out of it's comfort zone, we apply the freshly milled "Sapphire Slub" Selvedge to the classic Baseball cap silhouette. Simple is best. And while keeping it as simple as possible, we wanted the details to speak their own story. 

We opted to use the "J" to pay homage to Japan and Japan Blue Jeans, while selecting a tone of Red to allude to the "O" in Okayama Denim. And switching out the regular cotton canvas brim liner for the same Indigo Sashiko fabric used for the pocket bags on the ODJB001 jeans brought the capsule collection full circle from a design standpoint.

Finally, settling for the standard adjustable strap just didn't cut it for us - it had to be durable as hell while looking great. So of course, leather was the only option, and a great option to really elevate the already resilient construction of the hat.
