The Soundman “Swinger” Corduroy Sports Jacket draws inspiration from classic American sports jackets, reinterpreted through a distinctly Japanese lens. Designed as a shorter-length "swing top" style blouson, the jacket features raglan sleeve construction for improved mobility while maintaining a clean, structured silhouette. A subtle cigarette pocket sits on the left sleeve, while understated detailing throughout reflects Soundman’s philosophy of purposeful design rather than excess decoration.

While minimal at first glance, the jacket reveals thoughtful touches upon closer inspection. A reinforced tab beneath the collar secures the zipper opening, and the waist pockets are finished with piped openings reinforced internally with traditional twine, adding durability without visual clutter. The straight silhouette can be adjusted at the hem, while the double zip front allows for versatile styling and comfort. For this version, Soundman uses a high-density 10-wale cotton corduroy. The tightly woven fabric gives the Swinger a substantial feel while retaining the soft, tactile character that makes corduroy particularly well suited to an everyday jacket.
