Can't Stop, Won't Stop | Introducing PBJ's new fabric

April 18, 2016

Seriously, do these guys ever sleep!? Hands down, one of the hardest working Japanese denim brands, PBJ keep cranking out denim crack this season for all us indigo fiends.
The latest promises to please any avid denimhead, with the introduction of their brand new 16oz. 'KS' (Knubbed Selvedge) denim.
Looking back at every PBJ fabric and model to date, the fabric that is closest to this is, in terms of feel, is from the original AI (natural Indigo) series.
Although the AI series uses a Natural Indigo from Tokushima (hence the serious price difference!), and the latest KS-013 uses Pure Indigo, the irregularity and slub factor are on par with one another.
In fact, in terms of weave, these two denims are the closest to one another amongst the series.
As this is the very first run of this new fabric, the production lot was extremely limited, and we only landed a handful of pairs this time around.
Don't sleep, these will be gone quick.
