Founded in 1998 by renowned Japanese stylist, photographer, and creative director Takashi Kumagai, GDC (Grand Canyon) has long occupied a unique space within Japan's fashion landscape. Revived in 2025, the label continues to build upon Kumagai's distinctive vision, combining premium materials, functional design, and an appreciation for vintage clothing with a contemporary perspective. Alongside its own original graphics and seasonal collections, GDC has become known for carefully curated collaborations that bring together some of Japan's finest manufacturers and craftspeople.

The Fullcount x GDC Selvedge Jeans reinterpret Fullcount's iconic 0105 Wide Straight silhouette through GDC's understated design language. Milled exclusively for this collaboration, the custom 13oz. Japanese Selvedge Denim delivers the exceptional comfort that Fullcount is celebrated for while offering outstanding long-term fading potential.

Subtle details set this collaboration apart from its standard counterpart. Rather than traditional bright yellow stitching, the jeans feature a softer natural ecru thread that evokes the appearance of well-aged vintage denim, lending the jeans a more understated and authentic character from day one. Custom hardware engraved with both the Fullcount and GDC logos reinforces the collaborative nature of the project, while a specially designed leather patch depicts each brand's symbolic animal, a bear representing GDC alongside Fullcount's tiger. A discreet embroidered eight-pointed star adorns the right rear pocket, serving as GDC's signature motif without overpowering the clean aesthetic of the jeans.
