Samurai have pulled out all the stops this season to conjure up this truly one-of-a-kind fabric for F/W 2026. The fabric begins with an indigo-dyed Oxford cloth woven using a combination of 30/2 and 10/1 yarns, giving the material substantial texture and character. Rather than weaving the pattern directly into the fabric, Samurai employs a discharge-printing process that selectively removes indigo from the surface, revealing an intricate ombre check pattern. A further layer of discharge printing introduces scattered markings reminiscent of falling snow, giving the fabric its distinctive "Snowfall" appearance.

The shirt itself draws on traditional workwear, with gently rounded chest pockets and a relatively streamlined silhouette that offers a neater fit than more generously cut vintage work shirts. Navy blue pocketing fabric is used at key points as a subtle accent, complementing the indigo tones of the main fabric.
