An OD+SDA Collaboration Restock | The "Kasezome" Indigo Sashiko Selvedge Bomber Jacket

Back by popular demand, we’ve got that OG Bomber back in the mix for all the heads this season! After a two year hiatus on this piece, we worked with the fam at SDA to bring back one of our personal favorite collaborations to date! Hard to pick one honestly, with all the blood, sweat and fades we put into each new collaboration project. This one gets a little extra love from us, being a true proprietary design as we developed the silhouette, details and function of the bomber from the ground up.

SDA's proprietary "Kasezome" Indigo Selvedge Sashiko has always been one of those special fabrics that we have seen come through our doors. Back in 2019, we introduced a collaborative 6-Panel Hat featuring this fabric in its raw state. Realizing just how incredible this fabric both looked and felt was the spark for a new project, and after much discussion and deliberation, all eyes were directed to the production of this Bomber Jacket with the Osaka OGs.

Kasezome is the art of skein dyeing, a hand dyeing method by wrapping undyed yarns into a loose coil and dipping them into a vat of Indigo (in this instance). The yarns are dyed to the core while still retaining their original texture, a feat only possible when the yarns are meticulously dyed by hand.

Featuring UNIVERSAL Japan® two-way metal zippers with custom Japanese cowhide leather pull tabs, Sukajan rayon lining in Gold, ribbed cuffs, selvedge locker loop and a custom leather patch by the Ink King (Nathan Spoor), it’s the full package with this piece.
