Loop & Weft's Classic Royal Rib Knit Thermals

Loop & Weft's new Classic Royal Rib Knit Thermals got the bases covered on the base layer front without compromising on the all-essential color options. Continuing to push the envelope of possibilities when it comes to both elevated fabrics and meticulous vintage steeped construction, the purveyors of "Best Knitwear" in Japan have flawlessly executed the aesthetic of each variant of thermal. Available as a crewneck and henley, Loop & Weft are back with a bang for F/W 2024.

Recreated from an original military vintage thermal dating back to the 1950s, the painstaking process of recreating this garment reproduces the original vintage down to the smallest details. The serged hem is designed to tuck easily into bottoms, making it an ideal base layer for colder months. To complete the aesthetic, a Union Special 4-needle flat seamer is used to construct the garment in entirely 100% cotton construction thread.

Produced in Wakayama as always, Okayama's denim equivalent for cotton jersey tees & sweats, the proprietary "Classic Royal" rib knit fabric is both exceptionally warm and breathable. The weave will retain great structure even after extended wear. The double face nature of this fabric tells the core of the story, expertly sewn together by the aging craftsman in Wakayama in the case of Loop & Weft's production.

The new Loop & Weft Thermals drop on 10/10 @ Midnight (JST)
