National Holiday | Sea Day

Sea Day, known as "Umi no Hi" in Japanese, is an annual national holiday celebrated on the third Monday of July. Japan has a rich maritime history, with the sea playing a crucial role in its culture, economy, and daily life. Sea Day serves as a reminder of this deep connection and encourages people to appreciate the ocean's bounty and its natural beauty. Many people visit beaches, take boat trips, or participate in water sports. In coastal towns and cities, festivals and events are often held, including fireworks displays, parades, and maritime ceremonies.
