Fresh Drops | New in this week from PBJ

June 16, 2021

The Slub Masters have been as busy as usual this year, with a string of fire tops releasing for their S/S 2021 collection. Featured in this weeks drops, we have a brand new fabric development featuring a proprietary herringbone weave denim shirt (pictured above), as well as their Tailored 13oz. Type II Denim Jackets.
This time-honored piece features a unique pleated blouse style motif. Taking cues from early shirting pieces from the turn of the twentieth century, the addition of painted white metal buttons and the double button collar are a nice salute to garments seldom seen in this day and age.
PBJ's latest herringbone twill weave is a sure contender to yield some interesting fades over time. Without venturing too far into the realm of the garish, the subtle streakiness of the fabric gives an added antique vibe to this otherwise clean piece.
Featuring an indigo dyed warp x gray dyed weft, this unique dull blue hue is a welcome step away from standard blue chambray offerings, but nevertheless a super versatile color.
PBJ channel their early workwear energy to bring to us a sleek crossover piece, their Tailored Type II Denim Jacket.
Sticking to most of the design cues found in your typical type II denim trucker jacket, PBJ have added a little more in the length and re-vamped the collar and hem, to inject the tailored jacket aesthetic.
Featured in both Deep Indigo and Indigo (pictured above) denim, the 13oz. rope dyed fabric is perfect for year-round wear, and guaranteed to age beautifully over time.
Solidly construction details complete the piece, with the jacket featuring PBJ's proprietary hardware, including their embossed black coated iron buttons.
The latest PBJ tops go live on 6/18 @ Midnight (JST)
