Undoubtedly one of the most influential superhero TV series to be broadcasted on Japanese public TV, the Ultraman series was originally premiered and televised by TBS (Tokyo Broadcast System) from October 1967 to September 1968. Ultraman played the role of guardian of the earth from Alien invaders in the series, leading a double life between a member of the Science Patrol agency and Ultraman. Celebrating a reimagined film rendition of Ultraman for 2022, SDA's designers pay homage to the show that they grew up on, a classic icon of the early Japanese superhero culture. Taking their classic 100-ban series denim, SDA have gone to town with the details - with the symbology and color cues taking on that superhero theme. Along with the custom leather patch, SDA have gone for a custom embroidered SSSP emblem with the chainstitched arcs taking on a red and white color scheme. Flipping over to the front, the standout embroidered Ultraman emblem featured on the fifth-pocket simply slays. The custom red print back yoke lining and pocket bags complete this simply insterstellar pair of jeans.
