Developed exclusively alongside Japan Blue, the new 11oz. Selvedge retains the hallmark airy feel and explosive nep texture that defined the earlier versions, but now arrives with a more sophisticated hand feel and improved structure. The fabric balances breathability with character in a way few lightweight denims can achieve, making it suited for warmer climates without sacrificing the visual depth and irregularity that Denimheads know and love. Meaning "third generation" in Japanese, the term 三世 (Sansei) felt particularly fitting for what is now the third incarnation of the Dog Days project. More than just a sequel, this latest iteration represents the culmination of years of refinement, experimentation, and an uncompromising pursuit to recapture the spirit of the original while pushing the fabric further than before.

For this fresh denim development, we have renewed the construction details which will become a mainstay in our OD+JB lineup. Along with the heavyweight Tochigi leather patch and indigo-dyed pocket bags featuring updated logo artwork, we also developed a blue and red rayon tab to represent the Japanese “Rising Sun” Flag and Indigo Blue.
