Following a year and change of us rolling out restocks from some of our most highly-requested OD+JB Slub series jeans, with the very last remaining fabric we were able to secure from Japan Blue, we have produced one final iteration that will be the swan song of our storied Slub series. We know we've been saying that, but with this drop that we've been saving specifically for Black Friday 2023, the storied slub collaboration series commences.

Featuring that same Double Indigo warp and weft combination seen in our "Midnight Slub" series, we've swapped out a few of the details to drive home the fun we have had along the way. With the thick Natural Tochigi Leather patch, Asanoha print pocket bags and embossed hardware making its appearance for one last time, this is truly your last chance to own a pair from a collaboration series spanning 7+ years!

Featured in a sanforized 18oz. fabric milled by the crew over at Collect, the jeans are cut in JB's High Tapered silhouette which offers ample room in the rises and thigh but maintains a clean modern taper in the leg.

They are slubby and look absolutely gorgeous under the light as I expected. I really love them, nothing more to say. I hope OD will release more collaborations in the future. Also, it would be great if the Kakishibu could be restocked. I will buy a pair of them for 100% sure.

Customer service was extremely fast with confirming measurements for me. Jeans showed up hemmed perfectly in just a few days. This denim is very stiff out of the bag but after just 5 or 6 wears there's already some nice electric blue coming through. The horizontal slub is super unique and not something I had elsewhere in my collection. Very excited to see how these fade and super pleased with ODs service overall.

These jeans have finally begun to break-in and drape better after two weeks of regular wear and I'm in absolute love. Really fantastic value for a well-made pair of jeans with a really unique wavy slub achieved by those yarns being used at the weft. I'm sad I missed most of this collab series, and I'm glad I managed to cop the very last one. I'm confident OD will knock future ones out of the park, tho. All my gratitude to Ryo-san for advising me on the fit. PS. These really don't seem to stretch out much because of the tight weave, so please keep this in mind!

LOOOOVE THESE! The texture is wild in person, it’s hard to describe. it’s like super tiny indigo chainmail; the denim weight is perfect for daily wear and i can tell they will be super comfortable later in life. the craftsmanship and detail on these is absolutely stunning!! great work guys! xoxo

Had to fight these jeans to get them buttoned up, and the first wears will be tough, however i'm enjoying these after my first day of wear. These will fade very very quickly, already getting electric blue lines after only 10 hours of wear, so the fades after 6 months will be legendary. OD customer service is always high standard as well as the physical product. Overall: great jeans, not really for beginners as it is painfully stiff and slubby (but that's part of the fun).
