The "Rogue" is Master-piece's most technically developed sling bag, a military-influenced design built around a fabric system that takes weather protection considerably more seriously than most bags in this category.

The main body is woven from a high-density twill of 70d warp and 210d weft 66 nylon, dyed under high pressure before receiving Master-piece's proprietary "m-coat" water repellent treatment. The reinforced panels use 1680D Cordura Ballistic nylon, a material with approximately five times the abrasion resistance, tear strength, and durability of standard nylon, with a PVC coating on the reverse for additional strength and waterproofing.

For the areas featuring leather trim, North American hides are chrome-tanned, then split horizontally to isolate the lower layer, which is levelled to a consistent 2mm thickness and carefully buffed with sandpaper into a fine suede finish. Because the hide is thick, the dye is applied in two separate passes to ensure full penetration to the core, with a waterproofing agent introduced during the second dyeing stage to work deep into the leather.
