Round two of Loop & Weft's proprietary Heather Slub knit fabric comes in two versions, and new design cues is the latest arrival from purveyors of Japan's "Best Knitwear".
The Heather Slub knit fabric is especially breathable and particularly suitable for the warmer months coming up. Due to the irregularity of the heather yarns, not only is the fabric face wonderfully textured, but contact with the skin is minimal to ensure a comfortable fit and feel over extended wear.
In true Loop & Weft fashion, the neckline, armholes and side gussets all feature a custom edge piping construction which is tediously difficult to produce.
Since this detail is seldom seen in any garment, Loop & Weft have commissioned a modified Union Special machine in order to achieve the ultra slim 70mm thick edge piping featured on the tees. The added advantage here is durability over extended use.
Furthermore, Loop & Weft have gone the extra mile and ensured that each color way features contrasting color edge piping.
Following a classic 1950's T-Shirt motif, the back panel measures slightly longer than the front, paying homage to vintage styling cues from the period.
Featuring a dropped back shoulder seam construction, this design element helps retain the classic aesthetics of the 1950s motif while amplifying the ergonomics of this piece.
