In the case of our collaborations with Loop & Weft, more often than not the ideas start flowing when we meet the brand to view their next season offerings. The purveyors of Japan’s “Best Knitwear” not only make some of the most luxurious cotton jersey fabrics available on the market, it is the attention to detail when it comes to construction that always blows our mind. The combination of vintage machinery and construction prowess that can only come from decades of experience, it is the sheer attention to detail with an unwavering focus that make Loop & Weft the brand they are today.

For our latest in the ongoing collaboration series with the small Nara-based brand, we put our favorite hue on a pedestal with the Indigo Dyed Double Face Jacquard pieces. Garment dyed piece by piece, the Indigo helps to highlight the detail driven construction of another impeccable piece by Loop & Weft, featuring a woven twill placket with contrasting cat eye buttons, varying vintage weft knit ribbing on the collar & cuffs, a reversed back shoulder panel with a rounded overlocked hem.
