The latest arrivals from Studio D'Artisan, Samurai and PBJ

January drops are in full swing with arrivals from Osaka-based Studio D’Artisan and Samurai, along with a indigo-fused sweatshirt completing the Slub Master’s sweat range for this season.

At OD sustainability is a top priority, so we were thrilled to discover Studio D'Artisan's "Recycled Cotton" Western Shirt at their season showcase last year. Landing this week, we are excited to finally share this eco-friendly piece with you. SDA has ingeniously upcycled waste cotton slubs, transforming them into usable yarn for a sustainable denim fabric. The result is a unique, vintage-like appearance with inherent irregularities, thanks to the diverse sets of yarns used in this piece.

Continuing on with their "Kurozome" series, SDA presents the next masterpiece with their Selvedge Tailored Jacket. The Kyoto Montsuki Black dyeing process this piece undergoes requires extensive time and effort to achieve its deep black hue. The hand-dying process involves multiple layers of color before finishing with black dye. This technique, applied to the heavyweight yet soft sashiko fabric, makes the tailored jacket suitable for both the boardroom and a night out.

As part of SDA's 45th-anniversary celebration, we're featuring a printed denim tote bag, available in Ivory and orange prints—an ideal accessory for denim enthusiasts on the go.

But the excitement doesn't end with Studio D'Artisan. This week, we're introducing new color variants of recent releases. Samurai brings a 17oz. denim work cap in a stylish sulfur black colorway. To top it off, Pure Blue Japan presents an indigo-dyed sweatshirt, elevating a classic color and silhouette in their signature style.
