"Midnight" in the name connotes the hue of blue of the denim, with the solid opaque Indigo color on the face of the fabric. Midnight Blue is an official Pantone color that we found closely resembled our latest original Selvedge. "Slub" describes the highly textured fabric. Introducing yet another original fabric, despite all the pitfalls and barriers to developing a brand new denim, we are proud to bring this new Selvedge to market. It is an updated rendition of the JB0626 "Godzilla", complete with the Double Indigo treatment.

Featured in a sanforized 18oz. fabric milled by the crew over at Collect, the jeans are cut in JB's High Tapered silhouette which offers ample room in the rises and thigh but maintains a clean modern taper in the leg.

The denim is super sturdy, Super slubby and the shape of the jeans are great. Had a bit of trouble with the measurements. Waist was smaller than the sizing guide but I’ve got them stretched out enough to where I can wear them for a few hours. I think once they stretch a bit more they will be my favourite denim.

Purchased an ODJB007 Midnight Slub with Okayamadenim few weeks ago.With unintensive wear because I have pairs for my rotation, I can see light fades at the belt loops and my backpockets.Honeycombs lines and whiskers are all set, all I can say that this pair bleeds it's indigo anywhere! I used to wear my checkered vans, and the indigo stains is there! 18oz Sapphire Slub is great for me, not too heavy nor too light, and it suits Malaysia's weather nicely for me.Looking forward to see more upcoming fades and will post photos on my IG as well.Great fit, heavy sapphire Slub and high tappered cut with slightly good price! Worth buy! Thanks!

LOVE this denim. They came stiff AF and haven't had a bath yet, on about a dozen wears of 12+hrs and electric blue fades are already apparent. Mine came true to stated size (i.e. 32" was a 32") and these only seem to stretch VERY reluctantly. Beautiful fabric and color, for sure.
