The third in our ongoing "Shinkai Slub" series denim, this latest development traces its roots back to the legacy "Sand Slub" Jeans which we released back in 2019. During the planning phase of the new Shinkai Slub denim (which spans almost three years ago), we leapt on the opportunity to bring back several of our colored weft jeans, with the beige weft sitting firmly at the top of the list of options to bring back with a bang. While the new "Sand Slub" Jeans feature a classic right-hand twill weave as opposed to the original model which was a broken twill weave, we have beefed up the fabric weight from a 14oz. to an 18oz., bringing it in line with the heavyweight monsters we have released thus far.

For this fresh denim development, we have renewed the construction details which will become a mainstay in our new lineup. Along with the heavyweight Tochigi leather patch and indigo-dyed pocket bags featuring updated logo artwork, we also developed a blue and red rayon tab to represent the Japanese “Rising Sun” Flag and Indigo Blue.
